Buying chicken feed does not have to be complicated.
If you are looking for a smaller quantity, try your local tractor supply store. Check the yellow pages for locations. The feed mill is another option. You may not find a listing for the town’s feed mill in the yellow pages. However, you can usually locate the mill on your own by looking for a tall cylinder shaped structure. You can also do an online search for facilities licensed by the FDA. Likewise, the Amish community also makes chicken feed. This source is valuable, especially if you are looking for organic feed mixes.
