Chickens are also great pets for other reasons as well. They will provide you with fresh eggs, saving you valuable money at the grocery store. They are also great pest controllers. The foul will eat all kinds of garden bugs, as well as mice. Coops are making their way into suburbs and cities. They are available pre-built from stores, or you can make them yourself. In order to live comfortably, a chicken coop should consist of a place to lay their eggs, some form of shelter, and somewhere to eat, play, and bathe.
There are many designs and sizes that one can choose from depending on their specific needs and local ordinances.
